If you live in Wandsworth, Merton, Croydon, Kingston-upon-Thames, Richmond-upon-Thames and or Sutton, many of our services are available free of charge. We also offer some low-cost and fixed fee services.

The legal representation we provide is funded (in most cases) by the Legal Aid Agency, under the Legal Aid Scheme. To check whether you are eligible for legal aid, you can use this the  Legal Aid Eligibility Calculator.

To be eligible for legal aid, you will usually have to pass a means test, set by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA), by showing that your income and capital are within the current financial limits set by the LAA. This will involve your providing proof of income at your first appointment.

Our debt work is funded through the Money and Pensions Service. There is no means test.

Our Housing Court Duty Scheme requires you to provide information about your income, but there is no means test to be eligible for the service.

There are no eligibility criteria to access our advice clinics. They are free of charge, but they are aimed at individuals who otherwise could not afford legal advice.

If you’re still not sure whether you are eligible for funding, or you know that you’ll have problems establishing proof of income, please call us on 020 8767 2777.
