We are currently looking to recruit volunteer Caseworkers to assist our Housing solicitors based in Morden.


Casework assistant volunteers provide support to either one or several caseworkers or solicitors. Depending on the requirements of individual caseworkers, you may be asked to draft letters, deliver documents to Court, clerk at Court, photocopy bundles, observe client interviews, make phone calls, bill for work, conduct legal researches and perform any other reasonable tasks. 


To be considered for this role, you must be a highly motivated and focused candidate, able to show an understanding of the services the Law Centres provide. Because of the nature of the role, we are only able to consider candidates with a LPC/ BPTC, CILEx qualification (or currently studying towards it) or candidates who already possess significant experience of working alongside solicitors.


This role is suitable for people who wish to pursue a career in the legal sector, particularly law students or graduates, or who have already developed a career in this sector.
