People often think they’ll never need free legal advice. Then they do. And despite “access to justice” being a fundamental principle of our democratic society, getting the advice and representation required to help people exercise their legal rights is increasingly difficult. Especially for the people who need it most - those facing greatest disadvantage, those without a public voice, those unable to pay for a private solicitor.
In the last twelve months, ten law centres around the UK have sadly closed due to lack of funding. Don’t let your local law centre be the next.
