SWLLC Becomes a Collection Point for Purley Food Hub

You can now donate to Purley Food Hub by a collection point at  SWLLC’s Croydon office. The Food Hub was set up by Purley & Kenley Churches Together and has provided nearly 80,000 meals since opening in 2013.

Mayor of Croydon & Deputy Mayor help SWLLC celebrate 16 years

The Mayor of Croydon Cllr Wayne Trakas-Lawlor and Deputy Mayor Cllr Toni Letts OBE joined fellow local organisations in helping us celebrate being in Croydon for 16 years. Thanks to food and a cake donated by local supermarkets it was a great opportunity for local fellow organisations to see the Law Centre and hear about our work.



Why I do Pro Bono - Emma Danforth

South West London Law Centres coordinate the single largest pro bono advice clinic service in the UK, running up to sixteen free advice clinics across South West London each week. Last year the clinics provided free advice to 4477 people. One of our volunteers, Emma Danforth, Senior Associate at Allen & Overy, tells us about her pro bono work.
