JOB ADVERT – Welfare Benefits Project Caseworker

South West London Law Centres (SWLLC), one of the largest and most progressive Law Centres in the country, is seeking a Welfare Benefits Project Caseworker to take a significant role in a Big Lottery Fund - Help through Crisis funded project Stepping Stones to Stability: Collaboration across SW London.  You will be based in our Wandsworth Branch as well as at Zacchaeus 2000 Trust in Westminster with some other outreach.


In this new and innovative 5 year project you will be working with, supervising and mentoring trained students to provide welfare rights advice as well as help in directing to other legal services and sources of help.  The project aims to ensure up to 1,200 families take steps to prevent themselves from falling back into crisis, our support network will enable destitute clients to work towards improving their lives, once post crisis point is past.     


Salary:                                                    Up to £27,000 p.a depending on experience

Reports to:                                             CEO and Project Board

Term:                                                     Permanent – 5 years

Based at:                                               Wandsworth & Westminster with outreach at other locations
